 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her acting career when she was a young girl, just after moving to the United States. Her most well-known work is her appearances in AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (since). She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also starred in the role of a regular character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. After being cast in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also is a Jew. At the age of two she emigrated together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She moved to West Hollywood. At the age of five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, but she dropped out of the school following her sophomore year. She earned an GED and then went on to earn an Associate of Arts in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
