Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30th, 1990 more commonly known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American musician and rapper. His stage name is the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full length project, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) self-released in 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut studio album. The single that became a hit "Antidote" was the lead track. His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott has released his second album with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). This album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also produced his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys, which topped the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three songs at number one in less than a year in 2020.
